Description

Family: Begoniacea

Begonia masoniana is a rhizomatous Begonia commonly known as the Iron Cross Begonia due to the shape of the brown-red variegation on its leaves being similar to the Iron Cross symbol. Native to Southern China and Northern Vietnam Begonia masoniana.

Tall panicles of small white flowers.

12cm pot

Grow to around 35-50cm.
Allow soil to dry out very slightly between watering.
Bright, indirect light – part shade – full shade.
Well draining soil with addition of perlite.

Delivery Policy

Parcels are dispatched from Royal Mail depot Monday – Thursday, we try to not post on a Friday to avoid weekend delays.

Postage is a flat rate of £6.50 per order. All plants are sent Royal Mail Tracked 24 where possible.

Free Delivery when you spend £75 or over.

We have a high standard of quality control and aim to only ever post out plants we ourselves would be happy to receive.

Orders can be collected from the shop at 41B Killigrew Street, Falmouth. You will receive an email when your order is ready to collect.

Biodegradeable or recycled packaging materials are used where possible and we encourage our customers to also reuse and recycle them.

While we package with extra insulation for colder temperatures in winter months we recommend you purchase postage with a heat pack if there is any risk of frost or low temperatures. Any cold damage incurred will not be compensated for unless a heat pack was sent with the order (November – April).
